Our office on Strada Unirii 42 is located in central Craiova, accessible by tram from the city centre and with street parking available on adjacent streets. We accept walk-in enquiries during business hours, though we recommend scheduling in advance to ensure that a senior adviser is available for a substantive conversation. Remote consultations via secure video call are available for existing clients and for prospective clients based outside Craiova or abroad. We aim to respond to all email enquiries within one business day. Phone lines are staffed from 09:00 to 17:30 Monday to Thursday, and from 09:00 to 16:00 on Fridays.

We designed the intake process to be straightforward and to respect your time from the very first interaction.

Initial Call — 20 Minutes
A brief qualifying call to understand your situation and confirm that a Modern Practice mandate would be a genuine fit. If it is not, we will say so clearly and, where possible, direct you to a more appropriate resource. We do not pursue clients for whom our service is not the right match.

Risk-Mapping Session — 90 Minutes
A structured, confidential session — in person at our Craiova office or via secure video — in which we map your current asset exposure, identify concentrations and gaps, and discuss your objectives. This session is conducted at no charge and produces a written summary you keep regardless of whether you proceed.

Written Mandate Proposal — Within 10 Days
If the risk-mapping session indicates a clear fit, we prepare a written mandate proposal within ten business days. The proposal specifies the recommended structure, the instruments to be used, the fee schedule, and the governance cycle. There is no pressure to sign — clients typically take one to three weeks to review before proceeding.

All information shared during an initial consultation is treated as strictly confidential, regardless of whether a mandate is subsequently agreed. Modern Practice operates under Romanian data protection law (GDPR as transposed into Romanian legislation) and maintains a written data processing record accessible to any client or prospective client on request. We do not share client information with third parties except where required by law or where explicitly authorised by the client for the purpose of executing the mandate — for example, communicating with a partner legal adviser on the client's behalf. Discretion is not a feature we advertise; it is a baseline obligation that every member of our team accepts as a condition of employment.
